How much is a taxi from Marrakech airport to the medina?
A private transfer from Marrakech–Menara Airport (RAK) to any riad or hotel in the medina, Gueliz or Hivernage costs from €15 per car for up to 3 passengers. Airport taxis are meant to use the meter, but drivers often quote a flat fare and night rates are 50% higher; our price is fixed when you book and includes waiting time and 2 suitcases per passenger.
Can the driver take me all the way to my riad in the medina?
Yes. Cars can't enter most of the medina's lanes, so your driver parks at the nearest gate or square and walks you to your riad's door, with a porter's cart for the bags. Give us your riad's name when booking and we agree the meeting point with them.
How will I find my driver at Marrakech airport?
After passport control and baggage claim, walk out into the arrivals hall of your terminal. Your driver is waiting there with a sign showing your name. Before you land we send you the driver's name and WhatsApp number.
How long is the drive from Marrakech airport to Jemaa el-Fna?
About 6 km, usually 15 to 25 minutes depending on traffic. Gueliz and Hivernage are around 15 minutes away, the Palmeraie about 30.
I land late at night. Is that a problem?
No. We drive 24/7 and track your flight, so the driver is there whatever time you land. Transfers between 23:00 and 06:00 carry a 15% supplement, shown in the price before you book.
Can you take me straight from the airport to the Atlas Mountains or a desert camp?
Yes. We drive directly to Agafay desert camps (from €40), Imlil and the Toubkal trailhead (from €55), the Ourika valley, Oukaïmeden and over the Tizi n'Tichka pass to Aït Benhaddou and Ouarzazate. For camps and mountain guesthouses we drive to the camp gate or the agreed meeting point.
How much is a transfer from Marrakech airport to Essaouira, Agadir or Casablanca?
Fixed prices per car: Essaouira from €100, Agadir from €132 and Casablanca from €132. Vans for up to 7 passengers and minibuses for up to 16 are available on every route.
